The sound keep crashing every 10 seconds or so and the volume is very low even when you turn to max when connected to my Philips TV or soundbar. What is the point of this app? You need to plug your headphones into your tablet or phone by a cable to connect to play-fi on your device eg TV or soundbar etc to transmit a wireless sound. So in my opinion you might as well connect your headphones to the TV with a 3.5 jack input if the tv has one or by Bluetooth which is a LOT better then this rubbish.

Not fit for purpose: Doesn't find my TV and makes my phone reboot if I attempt a refresh of searching devices.

About this app

With Play-Fi Headphones, you can use a compatible DTS Play-Fi audio product to capture audio from any input, and send that wirelessly to your personal phone/tablet for private listening.

All you need is a DTS Play-Fi product that supports Line-In streaming—such as the Definitive Technology W Studio Micro sound bar, Klipsch RSB-14 sound bar, Polk Omni SB1+ sound bar, and more—and the app will find those products on your network, let you pick from one of their inputs, and render the audio on your phone or tablet and through to your connected headphones.

Now you can enjoy your TV audio (or wherever it’s coming from) wirelessly on your headphones in perfect sync, without the need for an extra dongle or special headphones. Multiple users can even stream from the same input at the same time. Whether for private listening, or just staying on good terms with your neighbors, DTS Play-Fi let’s you enjoy audio your way.
