Dawn newspaper and TV are credible and probably the most reliable sources of news from Pakistan. However, their app an YouTube news videos, which show up in this app as well, are worst. It has been long time it's like this. Looks like no effort is being used to improve video quality and smoothness. If you can't broadcast 4K videos, at least show HD video quality. Besides the videos keep pausing and interrupting, though I use high speed internet service. Hope people in charge would pay attention.

Too many ads and the video ads sustart with volume. It startles my wife every time. There's no option to turn off the auto play or the sound. In fact, there is no configuration option in this app. They have ruined this app. I am very long time reader of Dawn, but sadly I am leaving it now because of this obnoxious "feature".

The app is not working from last 35 days. "the news is not updated yet" only this shows on top of app when i open it Please fix it

App is a little buggy. Overall it's stable. However there are few problems. Biggest is that if you change the icon size, it doesn't remember it. The moment you come out of that article and open any other article, the only size switches to default. Can't understand why it can't be fixed, since it's prevelent in ios too..

I was using the other Dawn news app in English but it was not showing any news for last one week or so, thought this is an upgrade but this thing is entirely different. That old app was really good. Simple, no videos and just the daily paper. Urdu version is fine but users should be able to select English paper version as I believe DAWN was originally the english newspaper of the country. Just uninstalled it.
