This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MyDots on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. The app does beyond what it can. It can show battery level for devices other than xiomi devices. I have a Bluetooth speaker, the only problem with Samsung's one ui is it does not show battery level right on status bar like vivo, oneplus, etc. The only solution i found was to go deep into bluetooth settings in order to know the %. "BatON" could identify my device & % but the notification isn't persistent, but to my surprise this app does. My suggestion is to allow renaming devices to our liking.

Simple app that works well in doing what it's supposed to do, tell us the current power state. I wish there was more to it than that but as it is, it works and does so well.

So I don't normally review the apps I use but since this is a fairly new app I figured why not. I've only been using the app for a few days but the battery percentage seems pretty accurate from what I can tell and UI is easy to read and follow, all in all a great little app....the only thing I would LOVE to see if a widget that I can add to my home screen so that I could see the battery from a glance rather then having to open the app each time Great work nevertheless from the dev, keep it up!

About this app

What this app does:
• It allows you to check your wireless device's battery by either checking the app or a permanent (optional) notification when the device is connected.

What this app DOES NOT do:
• It won't allow you to change your device's action buttons or any other type of behavior;
• It won't allow you to check the battery status of your case.


Full description:
• Keep track of your remaining battery on your wireless earphones and speakers.

•Have a permanent notification with the battery status when the device is connected.
This functionality is EXPERIMENTAL. It might not work on all devices. Please send me an email if it doesn't work for you, describing the behavior and mentioning your phone model. Many manufacturers have aggressive policies on background processes, namely Xiaomi and Samsung.


---> For XIAOMI phones: go to app settings, make sure you allow autostart, allow notifications and set "battery saver" to "no restrictions", and under "other permissions" allow "permanent notification", "display pop-up windows while running in background" and "shown on lock screen". After that, manually open the app from your launcher.
