This used to work with my phone but has since been disabled. Now the only way to get it to run is to physically connect it via a USB OTG cable which forces the app to open. Once the app opens it runs perfectly fine, so I wonder what the point of disabling it in the first place was. Presumably we're supposed to now use SparkVue instead, however when using that, although I can connect to the device (In this case a Wireless Spectrometer) through my phones Bluetooth settings, it doesn't show up in the list of available devices, even if it's connected via cable making the app a glorified manual graphing app. We were hoping to get these devices for one of our other departments but if using them means we'll need the sensors plus computers to run them instead of being able to just use a phone as was previously possible it loses a great deal of its value. 1 star because it no longer works on phones, and an app that doesn't work isn't worth more than a single star.

For those reviews that didn't like it as it didn't work with their phone cameras - this is designed for USB/Bluetooth physical spectrometers. Works great with mine and the added tools especially the wavelength selection makes it a great teaching and measuring tool

I wanted to like this, but it didn't work. I have two cameras on my tablet so this shouldn't be a problem.
