The app asks for far too many permissions on first run. Accessing phone calls? Contacts? When these are denied it instantly crashes. Also, it still uses a pre-SDK 23 permissions model rather than asking for user permissions when needed. All in all, don't bother, it's unusable if you take your privacy seriously.

simply does not work. Am on the latest version of Android and a very popular brand of phone and it just crashes on startup.

About this app

Clued Up is produced for the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority by Archant, the publisher of Pilot the UK’s biggest-selling General Aviation magazine. Clued Up is free and aimed at promoting safety awareness among general aviation pilots and is posted free of charge to all UK registered PPLs, NPPLs and LAPLs. The magazine includes high quality features and photographs written by experienced flyers and is aimed at being entertaining as well as promoting safety. There are two issues a year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter with a third magazine, Airprox which assesses individual airborne safety incidents, printed during the summer.
