About this app

The broader purposes of this application are:
To introduce a new user-friendly mobile application (android based) of DLS for the mass community of farmers and people of Bangladesh through which they can get information and interact with DLS experts and authority
To provide some informative services from DLS to the farmers and livestock owners of Bangladesh
To provide some interactive services from DLS to the mass community of farmers and livestock owners of Bangladesh
To consolidate the existing efforts of DLS and other local authorized veterinary and livestock related organizations and make a concise mobile app that will be owned and maintained by DLS
To share the good work of DLS with mass people of Bangladesh and show the passive and active growth in the sector of livestock in Bangladesh
To contribute directly in the economy and GDP of Bangladesh as well as to be an active participant in meeting the promise of the Government of Bangladesh to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The specific purposes of the application are:
To make a mobile android based app through which users can:
Get informative information on livestock breeding and other related issues like cost and benefit, health problems, best practices etc.
Watch and learn about livestock related information through videos and audios as well as texts
Interact with the lessons from the app and comment in videos
To provide a way for DLS to have an early alert system through which they can monitor and identify any spread of diseases in any part of Bangladesh. This will include:
Early detection of disease with the help of livestock breeders
Early response from the DLS team in the related areas
App-based monitoring of the spread of disease and maladies
Bringing transparency and accountability from DLS end for the people of Bangladesh
To share the success stories of livestock breeders of different zones of Bangladesh
Interviews with breeders and farmers
Good practices shared by the farmers to succeed in livestock breeding
