So far pretty good. Would like to see a feature to watch a stream while browsing. Also when starting to chat. The keyboard appears and pushes the chatbox up. However it doesn't take the messages with it so you have to scroll down to see the most recent message. Also when chatting in landscape mode. The keyboard and textbox completely cover the screen. I would prefer the way twitch does it. Other then these things I really enjoy the low delay and visibility of all emotes :D

Impulse is the best alternative I found to the official Twitch app, which refuses to use the whole screen and also doesn't allow Twitch's low latency mode. Impulse does whilst also supporting BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ emotes. There are two main reasons why I only give 4 stars, one of which is that channel points and hypetrain (more like bait train) is not supported. The second issue is that the with of the chat can only be reduced to 25%, but I need 24% (23.81%) to perfectly fit a 1080p stream.

Edit - I just discovered something nice. This app works with Kore (the Kodi remote) to send the stream to another device (similar to chromecast). This is far easier than trying to use twitch directly on Kodi (and also slightly easier than using the app itself on a big display, because it doesn't respond to the remote control multimedia buttons, and you have to faff around with a mouse, though I think the app plays slightly better than Kodi) Don't bin your old Android streamers, this app (now) works brilliantly on them. (But you need a mouse) A nice app that works well and is easy to use. I noticed that the option to set preferred resolution results in an error if transcoded streams are unavailable rather than just playing the original, and it is fiddly to change this on the fly, dud to the need to swipe up after pressing the cog. SEGURO P3B 1500, Android Projector Android 4.4 P.S. I'd be quite happy to have an option to turn off the ad blocker fully, and just see the adverts they want to send.

Very well designed app, best ive seen so far the only downside I have is that you can't see chat on past live streams which kinda sucks. Hopefully they will ad this in a future update.

Overall, clean UI and smooth frame rate while watching livestream. But, I do wish the can add clip video for all category rather having to find the channel itself just for the clip.

I want to like this because it has everything I want and it isn't the Twitch app, but streams keep stopping because of the ad blocker.
