Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Group Spot - Events & Polls on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

GroupSpot is the new app for all your groups of friends, collegues and teamates.

With GroupSpot you will find in a single place a new way to keep organizing events, trips, afterworks, training sessions, matchs, bachelor parties, holydays and anything else you can think about. Keep trace of events RSVPs and choose the best option for everyone thanks to polls.

After creating an account using your existing Google credentials, you will be able to create new groups. We call them ""Spots"". You will be able to invite people to join your group spot: just send them a simple invite link by mail, sms or any other messaging system. You will not need to synchronize your contacts nor you will have to share any information within your groups except for a nickname and a optionally a picture.
Hence your privacy will be safe.

Once in a group, any member will be able to:
- send instant messages by chat
- create an event and keep trace of the RSVPs in real time. You will now be able to check anytime who is coming or not and who is not sure or did not answer yet.
- create polls to check everyone availability and/or preferences and know every time which would be the best choice. You hesitate between few places for your next afterwork, you need to choose the present for your friend anniversary or you do not know if your teammates are available for a sparring match this weekend or the next one. Polls will help you choose !

The new version integrate QR code and the possibility to log in using Facebook connect.
