The point of the app is you train it don't cry because it doesn't come ready to use :/ this is a lot better than replika and other stuff that is only there to exploit lonely and suicidal people with subscriptions and by stealing sensetive user data this one is actually educational and free with no ads great app. I wish these kids could understand it and didn't give low stars.

My first review was negative and after I uninstalled it, my curiosity got the better of me and I reinstalled it and after talking to it for a few hours, it started making sense. So just bear with it at the start, I guess it just needs more data to process and learn from but yeah, I'm starting to love this chatbot app, well done guys and sorry for jumping the gun the first time.

Firstly. This thing just repeats what you say. Confusing some conversations. Children learn to talk when they are ready to talk. If you can't give a visionary understanding then it is like trying to teach Helin Keller how to read a book not designed for blind people. Expecting it to see something it cannot self-visualize. Rendering it impossible to comprehend most aspects of a conversation. Nothing can understand that which they cannot see. without other sincery.

It's a cool program. It's how I would make an AI. The one thing it lacks is a way to learn from it's mistakes without the user input, which would be cool. The advanced setting is kinda confusing as what it exactly does. It supposedly teaches itself, but it takes a long, long time. The simple version is cool. I wish the developer made a discord bot version for my server. That would be reeeealllly cool.

This is amazing. For once, a real AI app! I see other people have said "I can't name it" or "It won't recognize me", but as it states, The AI has no ability to see, smell, or hear. If you want an AI that you will have a in depth conversation with, you can make it here, or do it on another app. As this isn't really for entertainment, and more of app that you can experiment with AI, and it works well. There are no ads, and I would highly recommend if you've seen the movie "Tron".

Really interesting app, as long as you understand its capabilities (for example, learning math is out of the question), it can be fun to try to teach. Some of the ideas that went into the creation of this app are kind if cool. There is a discord for this, and I highly recommend joining. You can engage in friendly banter with the other 700 members (at the moment) and exchange brain files. If you want, you can also catch the developer, oblivionburn on the there most days.

About this app

This is currently not being updated or maintained. Future development has moved to a PC version: https://oblivionburn.itch.io/realai

This app is an experiment in the Natural Language Processing field of Artificial Intelligence and is not intended for mere amusement, but it has no other real practical application. This is not a gimmick with pre-programmed responses, ridiculous side-apps to attempt to be your personal secretary, or any form of ads to profit from you. This is not a glorified search engine. This is Real AI. It learns through the process of being taught language organically (a process of exchange and repetition) and starts with no prior knowledge. To regard it as a child who is just learning to speak is appropriate.

Under the hood... the program is using a mix of condition-based learning, procedural generation of sentences/questions, and relational queries based on weighted 'topic' identifiers. It can create its own original statements and questions. It is real-time, and it really does 'think' (an internal dialogue feedback loop).

Warning: The program was written with the Roman Alphabet and -whole sentences- in mind for dialogue with it. This means using proper punctuation and capitalization. The program 'watches' your use of capitalization/punctuation to learn when it should start/end its statements and questions.
