The map is impossible to move around. Trying to zoom, center and rotate to a specific point in the sky is incredibly frustrating to the point where I bought it and within an hour I just went back to using Google Sky Map. Sure Sky Map lacks a lot of objects and the helpful object data and images, but at least I can move around. I cannot find documentation on how to make this app easier to use and I'm shocked by all the 4 and 5 star ratings. I am sure I am missing some key element of how to navigate within the star map, but that it eludes me also says something about the app. Having a degree in computer science, a number of courses in astronomy and physics and over 4 decades as an amateur astronomer and avid astrophotographer doesn't seem to help make good use of Stellarium.

i use this app for several years, and i also have the desktop version. actually i use the desktop much more frequently. this mobile version is good, but has some frustrating points. 1. it does not have the "equatorial mount mode". i often try locating nebulae and clusters by looking into the star map closely. in such situations, the vertical/horizontal movement is inconvenient. i really long for the equatorial mode. 2. star drawing size is generally too big and it makes the screen very crowded. no setting items to change the star sizes. i want an option to choose sizes. i will really appreciate if the developer consider these points.

I've used this app for years. Granted, I am only an amateur individual curious and interested in the the night sky. I don't have a telescope or even use this nightly. I took an astronomy class once and professor recommended this app and it's desktop version (which is even better). I probably only open this app a couple times a year when there's a meteor shower to catch or something. I've always enjoyed it and sincerely wonder what could be so much better about the $10 one. This one is free! 5/5

The app is not as fully featured as the desktop program is, it would be nice to add the ability to pull objects from the MPC database so you wouldn't have to wait for an update to have comets added. Otherwise, if you're used to finding objects in the sky from a sky map, this app does the job great.

Just another nice planetarium. comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) was added on July, 13th when it was visible on the sky for at least a week. try to find Search box to enter the object name. to search you need to turn consolation shapes (really?) PS Mobile website is really buggy and close to unusable, but it is in another story.

This app has always worked great for me and I love it, but it seems that since the newer version came out, I'm having trouble. Names overlapping and all the more dim stars show up no matter how I change the settings. I've never had this issue before and it's very frustrating.
