I've used Inshorts for a long time to get my news quickly. But over the last few months, I'm seeing news from topics that I've specifically marked as "not interested." It's super frustrating. I emailed the Inshorts team to fix this, but I've gotten no response. I even reinstalled the app, but it didn't help. If you want a reliable news app that respects your preferences, look elsewhere. [Update: If this issue gets resolved, I will change my rating.]

I used to love this app.. i use this app multiple times a day, every say since years. But now since abt a week the news pattern has changed which is making me frustrated. There is no actual news in most of the cards and they want us to click the link to know the news. This clearly contradicts what this app was made for and why it was loved. It used to provide all useful info in short. But now most of the news is not shown rather its premise is made asking us to click the link to know anything.

No longer news in 60 words. Used to be excellent, when the shorts were self-sufficient. They've made an internal switch to their philosophy: you're forced to click the link to the connecting article to learn anything, resulting in sensationalization of news with headlines ending with question marks instead of a quick summary which they promise. RIP Inshorts.

Really satisfied with how the news is presented. With the new feature, videos in the news play automatically, pausing any background music apps like spotify etc. However, once I swipe up for next news my media volume becomes zero and my paused music doesn't resume automatically (which is unusual for any app). Sometimes it really gets annoying. You should fix this issue. I will update my review and give better rating once the issue is fixed.

It was a good app, now the news seems to only want us to click on the supporting article probably to generate revenue. Earlier the 60 words were usually enough to convey the news, now the 60 words are being structured to encourage clicking on the news article and beats the purpose of the app. Hope the app doesn't become only an advertising channel for links to articles like "5 reasons why" and "10 facts about" which aren't really news

I have been using this News App since it was released. Gives good news and content is precise and to what the user wants to read. There are also links to the actual news content below. I like the information cards that appears in between while reading news. I usually share what comes in these cards during conversations with friends. I became an avid news reader after starting to use this app. However there are many improvements to be made such as providing the user with all news articles at once and giving him the choice about what he wants to read instead of swiping News cards and reading what appears. Sometimes the news links to websites that are not credible News sources. I recommend this app for everyone !
