I used this once to play smash Bros with a friend, but every time we start a match, it just hangs up automatically and it doesn't help that the audio quality is hot trash. I think this would be good with more improvements, but I'm just gonna say that a call or discord is better. The best parts about this app is in Splatoon it shows your stats.

Tbh, I think this app would see a lot more use if the amout of games that tie in with the app started expanding. As of posting this, the app is only used for four games that have been out for a while now (Splatoon 2, Animal Crossing NH, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Smash Bros Ult.) and the switch NES & SNES collections... Seriously Nintendo, I know the world is bricks right now and you're working on other stuff, but show this app some love!

Please save yourself the frustration and don't bother downloading this app. No matter what I do, it will not let me log in via the app. It just takes me to my mobile browser, and clearing the cache does nothing. Apparently this problem has existed since 2017, but zero solution has been found. Nintendo's online support articles don't have anything about it either.

I liked it, but even though I have an online membership, I can no longer use the animal crossing features which is the only feature I use the online for. It started when it had me log back in after getting logged out for some reason. I tried logging out and back in, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still doesn't want to work properly. It is getting on my nerves.

It does everything that its supposed to do well, but to be completely honest its pretty useless. The only features I use are for animal crossing custom designs and voice chat. I wish it was like the xbox app, like how you can see if your friends are online.

Good where it's used, but not the best. Still, has everything that is Nintendo there for you. Jack of all trades, master of none. The paid service is often regarded as poor, due to the need for purchase and mediocre service. It is understandable to an extent, such as working off of WiFi, though many times I've been temporarily banned, kicked, or just outright abruptly disconnected due to the online suddenly just stopping. In comparison to Discord, which has no such issue, this is odd at least.
