All functions work as advertised. Tested on older galaxy nexus. Two problems, there is a limit to the number of songs - about 50. Auto advanced skips 2, not when manually going to next song.

This app connects with my tree . You must make sure your wifi is connected to show tree . I can play music wireless from phone to my tree . Set up a timer . Change light pattern . I'm using a note 3.

I am able to connect to the tree and adjust lights. But not able to play music through show tree app. I was able to play music at the tree using a different app.

Put your device, if a cell phone into airplane mode, then connect to the tree and you can control it. Galaxy Note 3. Controls work great for the lighting modes and timer settings. No issue after that. Must put phone in airplane mode to control it if it isn't working.
