This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Scaniverse - 3D Scanner, LiDAR on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. I like this app however having linked my account to the meta quest app via android, none of my scans show in the meta quest, any suggestions Niantic?

Not happy that I have 3 phones, and the app is compatible with none of them.

Amazing concept but dire in practice. The app never loads properly when I try to sign in and the app on the Quest 3 constantly tells me there's a server error and clicking the triggers doesn't take me into any of the location 'crystals'. Would love to be able to record and upload my own scenes.

Does not work at all on s25 ultra. After i take the splat from different angles and process it it's just a grey screen with no details at all. I guess don't even bother if you have a new phone
