Would not give me a reading, and, no, I do not have an inexpensive phone. It has light sensors for photography and screen brightness.

Great App! It's A Must For My Shop! If it's not working for you, then I highly suggest that you update your phone with over that has a light sensor. Thanks to the creators and team for making this possible. I've tried the others on GPS, they suck in my opinion and really has nothing to with REAL TINTING. Thanks again team!

Worked right off the bat. My tint showed 100% light transmission. It would be nice to have a "standard" or something to test accuracy. I would think my glass with tint would show less than 100%. Great idea.

this was pretty worthless. I followed the instructions exactly, using it on some windows that I think are somewhere around 35-50% vlt, and the results I got said anything from 80% to 900%. Somehow it consistently gave me a >100% vlt result, and I was putting it behind the tint for the 2nd measurement as instructed, just to be clear.

Very inaccurate. The same window yielded multiple results. First time was 24%, second time was 7%, & third time was 85%. Useless app. I will be uninstalling.

Not working in fiji island. It keeps on showing that it needs sufficient light to read the glass though I'm using outside the hard sun..what more brightness does it need.
