Was good initially, I liked the newspaper layout. I was not able to login even though I am a subscriber. Then, after 2 days a popup came and said the app wanted permissions to phone access and make phone calls from my device. Clicked no, then the app wouldn't open. I have now deleted it. A dodgy app.

easier to read NZ herald on line than paper version. Cheaper too. Great that can download all at once whilst have Wi-Fi rather than having use mobile data later. Find Herald content quite informative but sure has a center right bias.
