The new app is slow and bolted with ads. Can't tell when a story starts or ends where the ads are placed. Constantly get white screen when starting the app. Takes a few start to get it to show. Tap on a story and it take a few second to respond. Old app was faster and cleaner. Why did you change? Also red for links is hard for me to read. Need option to change colors for links.

I really like the Newser website, but this app is currently unusable. When it works, it is slow. Most of the time it just launches into a blank screen on my Samsung S 20 Ultra. If I restart my phone, sometimes it will display articles, but I'm not going to restart my phone for this one app. I hope it improves in future versions.

This is hardly an app anymore. It's just a link to a mobile web page in google chrome. While the content is still good it is poorly presented in this horrible format. Ads are obtrusive and slow to load. When an ad loads it shifts all the news stories below it so you are constantly clicking on the wrong article or an advertisement you hadn't intended to click on. I love newser but I'm getting ready to dump the app.

Newser was once streamlined, simple and succinct - and always my go-to app for the latest news. Now it's a frustrating glitchy mess of ads mixed with news, and it kicks you out of a story before you're even finished reading it. Stories are still good. The presentation is not.

I loved the old version, but the new version is awful. The ads take over the screen and cause lag. Backing out of an article is slow and doesn't return to the same place from where you were before reading the article. Going to uninstall.

The old Newser app worked very well on my phone (Samsung galaxy S9), and I checked the news regularly. The new app takes forever to load and is very slow otherwise. I have stoppes using it. Is this something the developer is trying to correct?
