الرقية الشرعيّة..حصنٌ للمسلم، وهي مجموعةٌ من آيات القرآن والأدعية المأثورة يُردّدها المسلم ليحمي نفسه من أذى السحر، والعين، والمس والمرض، وجَميع ما قد يُلحق الأذى به أو بعائلته، أو من يُحب ممن حَوله من الناس، وهي طريقٌ شرعيٌ صحيحٌ لإبعاد الشيطان، وإبعاد أذاه عن المسلم، فيَتّقي شُروره، ووساوسه، وما يُمكن أن يُصيب به عبادَ الله، من الترَّدد، والشكّ، واللّبس عليهم في أمور دينهم، أو في حياتهم، وتَعاملاتهم الدنيويّة، وعلاقاتهم مع الآخرين.

وقد دعا الرسول الكريم -صلى الله عليه وسلم- إلى الرُقية ورغّب بها عند الحاجة، ضمن قواعد مُحدّدة وأُسس خاصة، وعلى كلِّ مسلم أن يَتعلّم الكَيفيّة الصحيحة للرُقية، لكي يَستخدمها عند الحاجة لذلك بشكلٍ صحيح، كما يُحبُّ الله ويَرضى، فلا يَقع في مزالق الجهل، والخُرافات، وقد حثَّ النبي المصطفى -عليه الصلاة والسلام- المسلم أن يَرقي نفسه ويَرقي أهل بيته، وعائلته، وإخوانه، حتى يَنتفع بالرُقية، وتَكون الرُقية من قلبٍ خالصٍ، مع الإلحاح على الله بالدعاء.
