First and Second Manassas were two very different battles. The First was the Union Army coming out from DC to kick the Rebs butts and what better place than the critical Manassas Junction. I grew up in the Conrad house which was a hospital and battery site during both battles. It was all country in those days and 234 was 2 lanes with the nearest gas in Catharpin or Manassas. When we dove hunted we would sit on the wall of the graveyard at Portici where Bureaugard had his HQ during First Manassas. I'm almost 70 now and I can't believe what it looks like today. Any history buffs want a natives perspective let me know - I'll bore ya to death! Loved the app.

Even without going to the parks, this app and its brothers are great. I breach college history and always refer to this when covering the Civil War. Thank you!
