They have ruined a great app with the new and improved version. After the update I can no longer choose to have the weather as the primary screen. The weather radar used to be spot on accurate and now it is no longer very accurate. I was standing on a golf course in pouring rain and was looking for how long the rain was going to last and radar indicated that there was no rain. The forecast radar is just blobs going across the map. Can I just get the old app back?

I used the iOS app for a long time for weather, and it was awesome. The Android app, though, does not let you choose whether or not you want to see the future radar product. So you must always watch a loop of 3 hours of past radar and 7 hours of future model. Really annoying

Although the app itself works well, it dramatically slows down the OS and all other apps, even when the app itself is closed. It is probably caused by its background services that run constantly. After uninstalling the app, the performance went back to normal. I'm using Samsung's current flagship Galaxy S9+, which is quite performant. And I remember the same thing with NBC app was on my old phone as well.
