This is a brilliant app. I'm making a bigger wood version. A-Z a-z 10 numbers on the outside. Total 62 characters, and 10 disks inside with numbers of different bases on each. Its visual. No computer program involved. Thanks for the hard work. If I had your brain power I'd make an app out of it. Sadly I haven't. Well done and thanks.

A help file would be nice, and cut paste messages, I have a wooden Mexican cypher disk and it has instructions so I know how to use it. Having the cypher text with larger easier to read numbers in full black would help. This combined with a OTP would be uncrackable

It's a good wheel, yet they don't tell you how to use the DECIPHER tool.

About this app

The Mexican Army Cipher Disk was used during the time of conflict between Mexico and the USA shortly before World War I.
You can turn the disks individually (or not). You can lock screen orientation and turn on vibrations.
You can cipher and decipher a message and display the frequency analysis for each disk.
You can break a message searching some keywords.

Note for teachers : in order that your students familiarize themselves with the disk and, initially, only use it (on a tablet available at their disposal, for example), you can first disable the other activities by setting a password from the main activity. Then, you can enable the other activities later.
