Painful to watch tv. If you are watching something and then go off the app then come back it takes you back to the home screen where you then need to scroll through tons of shows to find it again. The memory of where you're up to is not accurate. There is no "current shows you're watching". To make it easier and more user friendly. You guys could learn a lot from the Netflix app.

absolutely loved the app. Loved the free trial period. But as a non Optus customer, now that the 30 day trial period is over I can no longer use it. there is no option to subscribe to use the app without purchasing an Optus sim plan. very disappointed. this is a very slimy marketing strategy by Optus. I wish I could simply pay a monthly subscription fee to use just the Nat Geo app and watch documentaries, but I cant. I think thats pretty crappy.

Ever since this app was upgraded by the carrier, the experience is terrible. All video / streaming content is locked to due to location (really!). Contacted support a number of times resulting in being told "you have been escalated to 3rd level support" and then no further support is offered. I'm so glad I have been lured by this so called incentive. Don't download!

This app has great potential but unfortunately lacks the consumer friendly, smooth feel that we all know and love from the more popular streaming services. Even in 4G service I found the videos kept buffering and when you only have your 40min train commute to stream videos during the day, there isn't time for that. The ease of use was also not as smooth as most other streaming services. It isn't always easy to find the shows you want to watch.

I am a new Optus customer, still within 48 hours of the account being activated. Logging into Nat Geo through my Optus phone number was succesful and without fault. The steaming service for the large majority is clean, with very minor buffering no longer than 5 seconds (through 4G recpetion). I am very happy with the app and enjoying the content thoroughly. Great inclusion by Optus and a very good app produced by NatGeo.

App works very well for me- seems I'm one of the lucky ones. I had trouble too until I thought to log in within the app, I suggest those having trouble give it a try. It's in Settings. Will give 5 stars when Chromecast support is added. Surely authentication can be sorted out. Not all of us have or want smart tv's.
