Awesome mobile app. I use this while teaching kids in the field about Astronomy. It's wonderful to have details available to show students about Mars, rovers and etc. Very well done. I would like the option to download certain imagery tiles to my local phone. I don't have internet access at some of our viewing sites. Any chance this is possible? Well done!

This app is "light years" beyond any app I have used. I downloaded or used online a dozen others, including Google Mars and Nasa's mars explorer. Alot of work has went into this app. The developer has made it simple to use for beginners like mysel but has included all the data an expert would want. I would recommend this app for anyone. Thank you!

Enjoy using the app obviously a lot of work has gone into it , not sure why I have to have mobile data or wifi on , if the images are there then how come there not stitched together already like images of the moon are. Welcome the update, great app👍👍

Real quality app!! Looks wonderfully detailed and the options will keep me tinkering for ages. Obviously a labour of love. The only thing I think is missing is the ability to get the app to display what Mars actually looks like from the earth 'right now' (or ideally at any time/date.) Unless of course I haven't spotted it yet in all the options. :-) Thanks for no adds!

Amazing! I've always been fascinated by Mars and this app has tons of info which is extremely up to date (even the insight probe is included ). Tested on a Moto e4, it takes a while to build up the whole globe. I've just started to explore external links and other features, this will keep me occupied for quite some time and is definitely a keeper.😎

About this app

Join the fun! This application lets you view the terrain of the planet mars in real 3D. We use Mars Orbiter images and radar for elevations for real viewing. We have all the landings marked such as Perseverance , Curiosity, Insight, Opportunity and many more ! We have down to 5 meters per pixel resolution for all the landing zones. You can zoom down to the surface and look up at the mountains or view from any angle or direction. You can search for your favorite place and zoom down to it and place mark it for viewing at any time. We have the face of Cydonia and the Pyramid of Mars. You can put markers on Mars and save them for future reference. The Data from NASA and USGS combined with Deep Learning Artificial Intelligence Swarm works together to give you the best real experience and extend your smart phone capabilities. The AI is new and can detect structures on the surface.
The default color layer shown is 323m/pixel but can select from a list of layers from cameras, radar and infrared. The two grey images in our screenshots are 5meters per pixel for the Curiosity and Perseverance landing sites. The red line in the Curiosity snapshot is the path it has gone. The images for those sites are untouched so you will see seams and different levels of light. It does not get more real than that.
Our app allows you to zoom down to the surface and roam around like a rover. You can fly over interesting areas using our "Trek" (flyover) capability. You can quickly create your own custom Treks anywhere on Mars fly over them and save them for use anytime! You can select one of our GPS Tracks or add your own then fly over automatically using that track selecting your altitude and rate. Lists of locations on the planet are available from us or you enter and zoom to the longitude/latitude you enter. Multiple layers of terrain information can be overlapped and transparency control for each layer is provided.

It is best to use an internet connection through a WiFi router and we tested with 2GB of CPU Memory and large pixel count but it might be okay with 1GB and low pixel resolution but not with 500MB of CPU Memory. We support Android 8.0+.
