Nice simple design, featureless (which I like), but can't select the external sd card where I have my music.

I can't browse my SD card. All my music is on my SD card so this is a disappointment because the player looks like it was exactly what I wanted. I don't want to have to move my music to the phone just for this one player. All other music players do not have this problem.

Brilliant, exactly what I want - play files in a folder one after the other. Has good graphic equaliser, behaves as I want - e.g. pauses when unplugging headphones etc. My only difficulty: To set default folder to external SD card I had to uninstall the app, reinstall, go to settings, default directory, use the main back button bottom left to navigate back a level, then navigate to the external card folder (called "Storage\247C-1037\Music01" in my case). It was worth calling the music folder something other than "music" to check it was the right one. This only worked after reinstalling, and the app is superb, nothing more to add. I've used it for years, and I will miss it if it goes.

Really fast music player that still works on Android 10! The only issue I have is the notification control buttons are invisible; lock screen controls and integration continue to work fine.

I have been using this app for the past several years and have never had any problems with it. It is running perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. There is a bit of a learning curve and the interface is completely utilitarian, meaning the programmer focused entirely on function over form, which is perfect for my needs. The fewer the frills, the more stable programs tend to run. If I could rate this app as an 11 I would do it, but, alas, I am stuck with giving it a five star rating instead. :-)

Clean music player. Doesn't do anything it doesn't need to do. No ads. No updates. The swipe down (shade?) notification is missing the previous/play/pause/next icons and it can't play from an SD card, but these do not keep me from coming back to Clean Music as my go to player. A huge plus is that it is SO simple to play just one song on repeat until you're sick of it.
