This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MyGuitar on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Chord mode: choose chords and play them by swiping through the strings or using strumming/fingerpicking patterns.

Solo mode: play solo on virtual fretboard up to 19. fret

You can record in chord or solo mode anything you play and than add another track to it. E.g. record intro solo, than record chord section and than record solo played on the chord section. You can save your work for further use.

Chord library includes 7ths, 9ths chords with fingerings including finger positions and note positions in chords (on which string is tonic note, 3rd, 5th...).
