Its great to be able to see local news easily, but the notifications have gotten more and more useless. It went from seeing top headlines randomly throughout the day, which I liked, to constantly popping up advertisements to watch the news on TV. These notifications are annoying as hell (some of them going off as early as 6 a.m., very loudly) and seem to have replaced actual headline notifications. I'll be turning those off until this problem is changed.

The news they choose to display is so biased and from sources with agendas. I have deleted and re-added several times due to occasionally needing local news but there are probably other spots without the bias.

The overhaul and new look of the app actually makes it harder for me to see the news Im interested in. I don't like it. I wish they would've left it alone.

News Channel 21 is a great way for anyone that enjoys good accurate local news. I myself look forward to starting my day with News 21 at sunrise, getting ready for the day ahead.

Got a new phone and had to reinstall apps. Was disappointed that KTVZ's app is now useless. Defective. How has no one addressed this yet? When your competition is trying to push you out, your product should work, be user-friendly and maintenance issues should be addressed timely with as little disruption as possible. Epic fail. Navigating menu/personal pref? Is that just a screen shot of menu? My news requires me to select items but what about breaking news since alerts is a failure too? Not worth it and its FREE!

I'm glad that this app is available. Prior to it, I only had access to Portland news and World news. I live in Central Oregon and was wondering if I would be able to know about local news and weather. I found this app while surfing for something else, and yes, I was happy to find it. I think Z21 needs to let people know that this app exists. I think there are a lot of us "Shut-Ins" , that would love to add this to our phones.
