الحمدُ للهِ رَبِّ العالمين القائلِ: {واسْأَلُوا اللهَ مِن فضلِه}. والقائل: {وقالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُوني أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ}. والقائل: {قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلا دُعَاؤُكُمْ}.
والصّلاةُ والسّلامُ علَى سيِّدِنا محمَّدٍ القائلِ: "إنَّ الله تَعالى يقولُ: أنا عندَ ظَنِّ عبدي بِي وأنا معَه إذا دعاني".( ) والقائلِ فيما رواهُ عن الله تبارَك وتَعالى أنَّه قال: "... يا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إلاَّ مَن هَدَيْتُهُ فاستَهدُونى أَهْدِكُمْ، يا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ جَائِعٌ إلاَّ مَن أَطْعَمْتُهُ فَاسْتَطْعِمُونى أُطْعِمْكُمْ، يا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ عَارٍ إلاَّ مَن كَسَوْتُهُ فاستَكْسُونى أَكْسُكُمْ، يا عِبَادِي إِنَّكُمْ تُخْطِئُونَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وأنا أَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جميعًا فاستغْفِرونى أَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ... الحديث".( ) والقائلِ: "إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وجَلَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ لِيَتُوبَ مُسِيءُ النَّهَارِ، وَيَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ بِالنَّهَارِ لِيَتُوبَ مُسِيءُ اللَّيْلِ حتى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ من مَغْرِبِهَا".( ). والقائلِ:"إن ربَّكم حَيِيٌّ كَريمٌ يَستحْيِي مِن عبدِه إذا رفعَ يديْه إلى السَّماءِ أن يَرُدَّهُما صِفرا".( )
أما بعدُ فالدُّعاءُ هو بابُ العبوديَّةِ المفتوحُ للهِ تعالى يَلِجُ منه المؤمنُ كلَّ حين إلى ربِّه تعالى الذي يُجيب المضطرَّ إذا دعاه ويَكشفُ السُّوء، ولذلك كان ديدنَ( ) الأنبياءِ والصَّالحين، وقد كان نبيُّنا صلّى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلّم يكثر منه وينوِّع، وكذلك فَعَلَ أصحابُه الكِرام ـ رضيَ اللهُ عنهم ـ ومَن تبعهم من الأمّة الصّالحة، فاتّخذوا أورادًا من الأدعية التي أُثِرَت والتي أُلهمُوها. ولما تكلّم النّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلّم مرةً عن فضلِ الدُّعاء قال أصحابُه: "إِذَن نُكْثِر"؛ فأجابَهُم بقولِه: "الله أكثر".( )
