When I turn the equaliser on, it (for just a second) goes louder (as it used to), but then straight away reverts back to a quieter level. Have uninstalled many times, to no avail.

One of the best if not the best equalizers I've tried. Works perfectly on my LG G7 with Ikko OH10 and Onkyo HF player. It boosts volume levels when you turn it on. You need to change the volume level back to original to compare actual difference. The difference in sound is subtle but works perfectly.

This app is outstanding if you have some kind of surround sound set up like 5.1 or 7.1 ect. It allows you to save mulitple sound setting for movies and music or youtube videos, whatever you like to listen too with your surround sound set up. Another function it does very well is it allows you to utilize your set up to it's max so you can get all you can with out distortion. Also it is a lot of fun tinkering with the levels and you'll enjoy all of you're media all over again.
