I think this is awesome. Hearing sirens close by, but event not on the News. This scanner app let's you know where the Emergency vehicles went, and you can hear them talking about the situation at hand

I’ve been using this app for a few years now. I love it. I’m writing this review while listening in on Chicago dispatch about a lady who wants her husband out because he’s on crack. Every time something is going on traffic wise or an event, you can chime in to local dispatch or pretty much any city / county dispatch. Just awesome. Do it.

I use this scanner app in particular because of the timer! I like listening to this as I fall asleep, oddly enough, so I set it for an hour and that way it doesn’t wake me up in the middle of the night once I’ve fallen asleep.

I like staying on top of what’s going on. The police scanner app keeps me informed without the media budding in. I hear the truth as it’s happening. I love and respect our firefighters and police officers and always wish them a happy ending to whatever I’m hearing on the app.
