Social Worker, author, college professor, professional speaker and youth engagement specialist, Patrick Phillips facilitates change through engaging and motivating speaking engagements that leave participants motivated, inspired and equipped with skills to achieve self-actualization. With more than ten years experience teaching and working with families, youth and adults as an educator and social worker

Mr. Phillips uses a unique combination of evidenced based strategies and practical “real talk” to educate and empower. He is a firm believer that once individuals are provided the proper tools and strategies they can overcome many of the challenges and barriers facing them and realize new levels of personal achievement. Mr. Phillips has been featured on V-103 with Gregg Street, News Talk 1380 WAOK radio and in the Clayton Daily Newspaper. His motivational/education videos and songs have been played in classrooms throughout the United States. He is on the steering committee of 500 Men Standing In The Gap, an organization whose vision is to expand the number of men involved in the lives of young men by providing opportunities for exposure, male education, and modeling positive manhood to improve the overall community.

He is the founder and CEO of Educational Empowerment Group, LLC and author of Decisions: A Young Man’s Guide To Avoiding The Traps, a motivational/educational resource designed to increase its reader’s social and emotional well-being, and provide strategies that help individuals make the critical mental transitions necessary to shake off mediocrity and overcome obstacles in a productive manner. He is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor and Master Degree of Social Work.
