What happened to the tones ?! I thought pinyin was supposed to have tones?? Also as others have mentioned the sound or pronunciation sometimes is iffy. You can barely hear it or tell or distinguish the tones. Such as the ones for moon cake or how there's a difference between nu and nü. They are really fast. Lastly there seems to be a typo ( I believe it was )in the translation for green apples. Oh and if the app could have a little bit on writing character list for identifying them that'd be cool.

The way in which images, sounds and characters are combined makes it perfect for non-english speakers as well. I really feel that I'm learning as fast as when I was a kid. The reason that I didn't give it a 5 is that the sound quality could be better. When I'm commuting in the subway, I find it difficult to hear the audio. Good fun as well. Please update with some free grammar exercises, like word order etc.

This is useful for expanding vocabulary. I would like to see pinyin tone marks and a verbs lesson. Also, the small plate in household objects is translated to "disk" which is obviously wrong. It should be side plate or something to that effect.

Just finished the first lesson. I thought it was quite simple. The way they test you is really useful. I really can't wait until they load new lessons. Doesn't teach much about sentence structure, at least not so far.

It would be better if the voice speaks louder and breaks down how to say each word slowly. Otherwise its great. I feel like im learning somethings after a week..

Very good! A few nitpicking things - for a free app these are no big deal, but I would want them fixed before I payed money... 1. Yes, sometimes the voice is a little unclear, but it's not really a problem. 2. The correct/incorrect sounds are quite annoying. 3. It would be nice to have the accents marked on the pingying.
