About this app

TrackOn is a mobile application that provides user geolocation service. It gives users the ability to view their current locations through google maps, share their locations through a sesión code, share images and everything in real time.

You only need to create a session and activate it to make it work. These are the steps to be followed:

• User registration and required permissions:

1. It is only needed enter name, lastname and email to register. It is required to accept the permissions that TrackOn requested, otherwise this could affect the application behaviour.

• Crate and share session (*Enable GPS)

1. The first step is to create a session. You only need enter a name and a time interval (3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes) to get the current location coordinate.
2. Select option “Activate”.
3. Select option “See” In this option you can share images, force get new location, view location in map, view reminder time to get a new location.

Share session with others:

4. Select option “Get Code” After select this option, the code automatically will be copied and will be ready to paste it. If the user to whom you shared the code does not use TrackOn, that user can use the web platform (http://www.track-on.com) otherwise in the mobile application user must access to the option "Track Session" located at the top of the application. In the "Track Session" option, user must enter a name and the session code. Then user could select the option "See" to view the session information. There are no more steps to create and share a session.

• Settings

1. Language options, you can select between English and Spanish. If your device work with some of them it will be selected automatically otherwise the default language will be English.

2. Drawing options, you can control the drawing of the locations obtainded on the map. If you only want to see the last location you must select the option "Show last location"


• Details

1. The sesión status will be changed to Finished after 10 hours automatically.
2. A session will remain active, even if the phone is restarted.
3. New locations will be obtained each time interval (interval selected in the creation of a session) and should exist at least 50 meters from the last location obtained. If you are in the same place, no new locations will be generated.
4. Offline mode. It will save new locations even if there is no internet access. Once Internet access is restored, the new locations will be synchronized.
5. Android Versions 16 - 23.
6. You can create 10 sessions as a maximum.
7. You can track 10 sessions as a máximum.
8. Sessions will be automatically deleted after 5 days to release space on devices.
9. GPS must be active in order to obtain a more accurate location. In the case that GPS is not active locations will be obtained but they will not be so accurate.
10. A session with a Paused status may change to In Running status. A session with Finished status can not change its status


• TrackOn could be used on

2. Transport tracking.
3. People tracking.
4. Devices tracking.

App Permissions
