I had used this app for ages now, but unfortunately the recent changes are horrible. Most especially, the premium push is truly sickening. This was the only e reader to have simply full page ads in between opening and closing books. Now they place ads on eveth page right across the bottom. I don't have the world's largest phone, so I tried premium, thinking I'd support a great app. Wrong! The price is UNBELIEVABLE and after subscription, you STILL get full page ads in between books! Yikes! 🤬

Constant ad at the bottom of the screen. Makes any book unreadable for me. I understand the need for the developer to make revenue, but I can't enjoy reading with the distractions. Update after response from developer: There are other apps that are free to use that don't have a constant ad banner. Perhaps you should consider periodic pop-up ads instead? -1 for arrogance.

Update: I received a refund so increased rating. I made the in-app purchase thinking that by making a purchase, the ads would be removed. I was WRONG. The in-app purchase DOES NOT remove adverts which is a HUGE problem for me. Adverts take over the screen and sometimes have a timer that does NOT allow you to close the add until the end of the timer. I think Media365 Book Reader can be a great product. The formatting of the books is very nice. Turning pages is also very nice. Its just ads ruin the experience for me.

So incredibly upset! This was my favorite app as I have an extensive ebook library. I'd already paid for the premium version for the year. Not sure if there was an update but all of a sudden my downloads erased from my library and I don't have the option to upload an entire folder at once anymore. I now have to upload one file at a time. The app is useless to me now as I have hundreds of ebooks. I've cancelled my recurring subscription. And will be using a different app.

Deceptive trick to get you to accidentally sign up for a 7 day trial after which Google Pay will debit you $30 every year. The subscription screen opens by default when app starts. There is no 'X' for exit or 'no thank you' option to revert to free version. You can exit this screen by hitting the back arrow on your phone and search for free but it's intentionally unintuitive. Books are mostly public domain, easily found elsewhere for free, so no wonder they use tricks to get your $30 a year.

Its a really great app for reading and storing books but, I hope you will improve your audio listening feature. Its sounds robotic, bad at pronouncing certain words and the playback speed setting is horrible. This app will be perfect and would be a better app against speechify or audible if it is improve. I would gladly give it a 5 star and renew my premium membership every year if that is improve. I hope you will conside my feedback for all primume members out there.
