About this app
It is essential for ultrasound echocardiographers to learn the American Heart Association cardiac segmentation of the left ventricle into 17 segments which is the standard widely used by many other imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging,cardiac nuclear tests, etc... to describe the location of affected segments and function. Many times the person reading your echo will ask " what did you see?" and replying with an exact location of the affected area is what is expected.
This app contains all the echo views showing the AHA segmented myocardium and will quiz you to tap the correct segment. I personally find that repetitive quizzing works best for me when I need to quickly learn/memorize subject. If you are an ultrasound student studying echo/TTE I think this would be an excellent complement to your studies.
