This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Montessori Movable Alphabet on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Hi my name is Kimberlyn, Very Good attempt on building the Montessori LMA app. I just bought the app and I noticed it has just 2 Major activities. 1. It has few words set 2. Word building ultimately Is it possible to add a feature that teaches the child the initial sounds also? Before progressing to word sets or word building?

This app works very well it complements well pink box two though it is limited. Based in the UK it is American so the children get very confused with the accent.

About this app

The Movable Alphabet is a great way for children to practice "writing" before they master the skill of using pencil and paper to do so. Simply construct words by taking letters out of the box and placing them together onto the workspace.

In the app children can practice constructing words like cat, bat, rug, bug, etc by placing the letters next to the pictures shown onto the screen. When they touch the picture they will be able to hear the correct pronunciation of the word, as well as the sound of each letter that makes up the word.

In the box of letters there are buttons to hear the sound of each letter to make it easier to search for the letter they are thinking of.

There is also an activity with a blank workspace for children to build their own words and phrases. Teachers can use this activity to assign their own set of items for the children to identify and "write" the names.
