This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Urgent Call Lite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

This app doesn't actually do what it claims on my phone. Instead of alerting me when I receive two calls in 5 minutes like it says it does, it merely starts playing the ringer full volume a minute or so after I miss any call. Even if it was the only call I've gotten all day. It's harder to silence than the ringer so worse than simply having the phone on loud all the time. I tried to get it to work for some time but no luck. Definitely Uninstaller.

I'm sad this app gives me SILENT notifications about urgent calls and texts :( I've been testing this app for an hour now with my fiancé's phone and no amount of keywords or calls within five minutes triggers any sound; just a silent notification. I really need this app to work, I can't imagine I'm the only user with an LG G3?

I installed this app. But I don't understand how it supposed to work. The free version does nothing, I would like to select my daughter's # for example in case but it is asking for upgrade when the free version does nothing? ??? Can anyone help, thank you.

This app is perfect for what I want. I hate having my phone set to ring or vibrate, but I am paranoid that someone won't be able to reach me if it's urgent. It would have saved me an hour of standing outside an apartment building if more people had this app enabled!

About this app

In today’s fast-paced and very connected world, sometimes it’s hard to get a little peace and quiet. Urgent Call is the solution! Urgent Call is the filter that lets you turn off the distractions and disturbances, but lets the most important calls or texts get through.

Once you install Urgent Call, feel free to put your phone into silent mode anytime. If the same person calls you 3 times within 15 minutes, your phone will ring on the third call, even if it’s in silent mode. Or, if someone sends you a text message with the keyword “Urgent!”, your phone will alarm you, even if it’s in silent mode. The app is very easy to customize. Feel free to change the keyword, or to change the number of calls or timespan required for you to get an alert. It’s easy!

Urgent Call Lite is free and ad-free, and always will be! It works out of the box and lets you customize your alerts and turn them off and on as necessary. Nobody should have to pay to know that their loved one's been in an emergency. If you find you'd like a little extra customization to make Urgent Call more useful to your lifestyle, you can always upgrade when need be.

Once you install Urgent Call, you will need to launch the app at least once in order for it to work. After launching it and agreeing to the terms and conditions, Urgent Call will remain active anytime you silence your phone. If you need to disable Urgent Call from letting anybody through, no matter how urgent, you can launch the app and turn the setting to “off” temporarily.
