Very cool app. I gave it a four star instead of five because the developer is probably more likely to look at a four star app suggestion. ...And I do have a suggestion! It would be really nice to add a "reserve" feature as in chess. For example, 5+3, where your total time is 5 minutes but each move gives you 3 extra seconds. Or your time doesn't begin subtracting until the end of 3 seconds (for example). That's all! Good job and thanks for making this app. I would pay ~$3 for reference.

Amazing. Simple to use, convenient for most games, free with no catch, and always works like a charm. Been using it for Rummikub and word games for several years now.

This is like a chess timer for 2-6 players. It's simple and works well. Currently players are only identified by color. It would be nice to have player names, especially for colorblind people.

Great app, does what it needs to. Would be even better if there was a count up so that we don't have to count down and ignore he negative sign.

Yes! I'm finally willing to play Scrabble. I can even edit my time lower as a way to "level the field" when playing with my kids. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Nice for linear turn order.. Turn timer is grt.. Also a start player randomiser.. (Tap hold and release.. for determining start player). Hope it can be done variable turn order as well.

About this app

The Game Timer was created (although not limited to be used) for enforcing timing rules while playing board games. The two main functions allow the game to be timed on a per-turn or an accumulation basis. In Per Turn mode, the user can set a time per turn and keep track of how many times a particular user goes over. The second mode, Time Bank, is similar to a chess clock. Each player is given the same amount of time to start and, as they play their turn, the time is taken out of that player's bank. Once that player is out of time, they are out of the game. The user can also turn off elimination mode meaning once a player runs out of time, they are not eliminated from the game. The app will track how far over time the player has gone.

Please let me know if there are extra features you would like to see in the Game Timer. It was created for personal use but I decided to share the wealth. It actually does improve the experience of some board games. Game it up!
