The scrolling notes and flashing green make it hard to be sure which note you're supposed to play. It would be good practice if that's fixed.

The best app on market (paid version) to learn to read notes for Android. A must for all beginners! And I, and students love it a lot! I'm using it for few years already to teach students to read notes.

About this app

Score-Trainer is an app to teach you sight reading of music. You identify the note that appears on the right side of the screen. Then you press the correct key on the piano. The trainer adjusts the level of difficulty to your skills.


OPTIONS

By clicking on the clef, you switch from treble notes to bass notes or alternating clefs.

By clicking into score lines, you decide whether one or three notes are displayed. By this, you practice absolute or relative sight read.

By clicking into the upper info window, you change the scope of notes and thereby the level of difficulty.

In addition, the trainer adjusts the level of difficulty also automatically to your skills by varying the intervals and scope of notes.
