As I was about to give up on finding a place that was not full of clicks and Hippocrates to serve my Lord, a friend introduced me to the Simple Church. I have thoroughly enjoyed my years of serving at the Simple Church. I must confess, i have looked for the flaws and clicks that discouraged me from other churches i have attended and I have not found any. With a gleeful heart, i recommend Simple Church to anyone looking for real people and real worship.

I will always love this church and the people who work it. I always find that when I attended the service at the Simple Church the service is about what I need to hear on the problems that I am going thru. Justin and John are the best Pastors as well as the staff that helps run the program. Thank you for giving me this app to stay in touch with you. God bless you all. I am thankful for the Simple Church. Justin does an amazing job Sunday after Sunday delivering God's message. He does it so everyone can understand and with some humor. They helped me out of some very dark places. Forever grateful.

Visited for first time during a thunderstorm , started to turn around and go home . But something told me to go on . The sermon was about people being there in spite of the storm . Loved it .... No judgement , what church should be .

About this app

The Simple Church began after dreaming for 15 years of what church could and should be like! We felt God leading us to risk it and finally DO something in late 2006. With the blessing of our previous church and pastor, the SC launched with a group of 80 people. On June 10, 2007, we had our first preview service at the Boardwalk Regal Theater with 222 people attending. We had two more preview services over the summer and began meeting weekly on September 16, 2007. In the last 7 years, The Simple Church has grown from 80 people to nearly 6,000 people. The church launched with only 1 service...today 3 services are offered at the Shreveport Convention Center.

WHAT THE SIMPLE CHURCH IS ALL ABOUT:
We are all about loving God & loving people. We're imperfect people striving to become more Christ-like, not just on Sundays, but in the way we live our lives every day. We feel like God has positioned us to reach the unchurched & the dechurched in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
