I love this app. I've read some of the negative reviews and I don't know what their talking about. Salon updates articles quite often enough for my liking anyway. If Salon is all you read maybe then you might need more updates. Keep up the good work!!!

Fully Redeveloped as of April 17th 2020 - Salon's app now seamlessly displays all of their articles and original video content. The app is ad free and offers a clean, smooth reading experience. It's time to update your version or download anew - the new Salon app is better than ever.

This app is garbage and has been for years. Articles routinely do not update unless you force quit the app, manually clear its data from storage, and restart the app. About half the articles display with the first half or so truncated. App store says it was updated earlier this month, but nothing has improved now the articles don't even update if you clear the app's data.

The app has been broken for quite some time. It now only shows at most only the first paragraph of an article, and often only the disclaimer. It used to work fine. The app is now basically useless. I reported this quite a while ago, but I have not seen an update that fixed this issue. I am running the latest Android version and the latest version of the Salon app. I have re-installed the app and cleared the cache. I have cancelled my subscription, I'll renew when the issue is fixed

I'm a longtime Salon reader who hoped this would be the best way to access ad-free content after the discontinuation of Premium. Alas, the app routinely fails to update stories.
