Used this app for years, hands down best music player on android but most recent update has made it very slow and almost unusable

Excellent player, but can't use on planes. I have the paid for license but on a business trip this couldn't verify the licence on a phone it had been installed for 5 years so locked me out. Very disappointing. I can't recomend paying for this if it is that likely to fail. The response to this from the developers was that this was impossible, all my fault and I didn't have a valid licence and as such was a hated freeloader. Not great customer support either!

I was having problems with my old player reading some tags correctly, including cover art. I could read them fine using Solid File manager, so I began trying other apps. I was surprised at how many other popular apps also had problems, some with the same files, some with others, and some just badly written. One app actually displayed a voice message from my downloads folder, but didn't seem to have a way to choose what folder to use and not use. Finally, I tried Poweramp. It was a little more expensive, which is why I tried it later. Also, long ago I tried it and it seemed like too much. Well, either I've changed or it has, because I liked it a lot, and it had no problems reading the tags that the others stumbled on. Plus, every album art image showed up as expected, something the others didn't ever seem to accomplish. I'll have to get used to the UI a bit, but it really seems to do it all so far. And I love that it has a full trial, so I can see how it actually looks and works without distractions. Other apps need to learn from this, as some are so annoying I never even get a chance to try them out

I've used this app for at least 5 years. I'm using it a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and I've noticed whenever I restart my phone, my music is gone on the app. There will be a message saying, "it looks like nothing to me," and then I'm a few seconds all 6000+ songs will start to reappear. What the hell is that about?!? In addition, the app shows so many duplicate tracks. Even after I delete them they reappear at some point in the future. Truly maddening. I'm using the Pro version.

When this app works, it's a fantastic music player. I enjoy being able to dial in my music. The options to tweak the sound are extensive compared to everything else I use. However, some settings seem to be broken. Adjusting them does absolutely nothing. Everytime I connect my phone to any bluetooth device, this app is automatically playing full volume 60% of the time. So when it works, 5/5. When it's buggy, 2/5. Uninstalling and wish I would not have bought the unlock app.
