Manasik haji adalah peragaan pelaksanaan Ibadah Haji sesuai dengan rukun-rukunnya. Dalam kegiatan manasik haji, calon jamaah haji akan dilatih tentang tata cara pelaksanaan ibadah haji yang akan dilaksanakannya, misalnya rukun haji, persyaratan, wajib, sunah, maupun hal-hal yang tidak boleh dilakukan selama pelaksanaan ibadah haji. Selain itu, para calon jamaah haji juga akan belajar bagaimana cara melakukan praktik tawaf, sa’i, wukuf, lempar jumrah, dan prosesi ibadah lainnya dengan kondisi yang dibuat mirip dengan keadaan di tanah suci.
Manasik haji juga diperlukan guna memberikan pemahaman kepada setiap calon jamaah haji tentang tujuan utama keberangkatan mereka ke tanah suci. Manasik haji sangat bermanfaat bagi para calon jamaah haji, karena setelah melaksanakan manasik haji, para calon jamaah haji akan dapat memahami hal-hal apa saja yang harus dilakukan pada saat melakukan ibadah haji nantinya. Para calon jamaah haji juga mempelajari budaya, bahasa, dan kondisi alam di Arab Saudi.
