Great resource for looking up the German translation of an English word or phrase, or vice versa. It pairs a wide variety of connections and can produce a very long listing that can be very helpful in finding an exact translation of a word or phrase.

The only thing that you can regret about this app is not having it. I bought one more dictionary app , and even though was more expensive , this one is better. I can give short example about what i enjoy about this app. If you write the word "water " you will find the word "Fish" , "Snow" or "Waterproof" and many more associated results! Is really worth in my opinion. Its missing pronouncing but if you buy book it will also not have pronouncing. And this app will be one big book in your pocket!

REQUIRED for anymore serious about learning German. I am living an American living in Germany and use this app pretty much every day to be able to find the words or phrases to express my thoughts. I like that is does not require any data to use (great for the bad-signal places). This app show the different conjugation forms of verbs and displays various usages. *** One current lack, in the app, is the need for an audio button that would pronounce the phrase/word ***

good but unbelievably lacking hot links to further linked words in the search results. could benefit by adding in copy to translate functionality as found in linguee and Google translate. 5 stars if the first shortcoming fixed. i still recommend it.

As a Brit living in Germany, I find this app is a daily life saver. Particularly like the way it translates E-G and G-E seamlessly, very handy for quick look up. Two years on, and this is still the best dictionary app.
