And if a problem occurs, the app supports you by being interconnected with breakdown services and the MAN service workshop. Some functions require a RIO account for drivers: Truck and bus drivers can register directly in the app. Van drivers must be invited via the RIO platform.

** For the data from the digital pre-departure control and damage reporting system to be transmitted to the fleet manager, the fleet manager must register on the RIO platform. In addition, the fleet manager must invite the driver via the driver administration. After the driver has accepted the invitation, the fleet manager can access the overview results of the departure check via the portal (Pre-Departure Check application).

*** The RIO Timed service must be booked for the vehicle via the RIO platform Marketplace to be able to view the driving and rest times.
The MAN Perform service must be booked for the vehicle via the RIO platform Marketplace to be able to use the individual driving style analysis.

**** Requirements: MAN Multi Media Trucksystem from model 2017 (software version R37 or higher), the Bluetooth telephony function must be available as well.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
