Welcome to Dinajpur secondary and higher secondary education board

For the purpose of expanding quality, timely education in Rangpur, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon and Panchagarh districts, for the purpose of controlling, supervising and development of secondary and higher secondary education institutions in the local jurisdiction, on October 22, 2006, through Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificate Secondary Education Board, Dinajpur The board's activities are in progress in the first SSC and HSC examinations in 2009.

At present, 13 officers of the BCS (general education) cadre, including one from the Audit and Accounts Department, are working in the Education Board; There are 108 employees appointed in different posts and 11 Ansar VDP members are engaged in security work.

For the establishment of the own campus of the Board, 3 acres of land has been acquired and work is going on to create necessary infrastructure from the Education Board including construction of administrative buildings from 013 AD. It is expected that the physical infrastructure of the Education Board will be completed in June 2018.

Under the Dinajpur Education Board, there are 656 primary colleges including 716 secondary schools, secondary schools 2579, higher secondary colleges and degree colleges, total educational institutions 3,952.

The JSC, SSC and HSC examinations have been done smoothly since 2009-2005 and the number of educational institutions under the education board has increased more and more. The number of students increased as well. At present, the number of students at the JSC level is 2 lakh, 1.5 lakh at the SSC level and about one lakh in the HSC level. In the last years, the approval of the teaching of various educational institutions, academic recognition, issues, departments and branches opened and recognition of the recognition has increased significantly.
