About this app

Shrimad Dasbodh is a classical 17th century Hindu Advaita Vedanta spiritual text. It was orally narrated by saint Samarth Ramdas, to his disciple Kalyan Swami. The narration is believed to have taken place in a cave called Shivatharghal in the Raigad district of Maharashtra in India. It provides readers with spiritual guidance on matters such as devotion and acquiring knowledge. It is the only Spiritual text that contains not only spiritual guidance but also guides Spiritual practitioners many details such as how to write, how to manage life, what the qualities of a leader are, what the symptoms of fools are, etc.

Comprised of 20 cantos called Dashakas and 200 sub-sections called Samasas, this beautiful work reveals different aspects of human life. It can be described as a guide book for a happy, ideal and content life.
