Bagi anda yang baru lulus SMA jangan takut untuk mencoba masuk ke IPDN. IPDN selalu menjadi salah satu sekolah kedinasan di setiap tahunnya.

Pasca lulus dari IPDN maka akan langsung memperoleh golongan 3A dan dapat dikatakan mempunyai gaji yang standart, tapi perlu diketahui jenjang karir dari lulusan tersebut dapat dikatakan sangat cepat. Karir lulusan ipdn dapat langsung ditempatkan diposisi strategis seperti camat atau lurah. Dan tak heran untuk jabatan tidak diragukan lagi dapat langsung dipromosikan menjadi kepala bagian yang dapat berdampak pada kenaikan pangkat golongannya juga.

Sebelum menjadi Calon Praja IPDN maka para calon peserta diwajibkan untuk mendaftar dan mengikuti semua tahapan tes yang akan diujikan. Jika para pendaftar/peserta di tiap tes nya sampai dengan tes akhir memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditetapkan maka dapat dinyatakan lulus sebagai calon praja IPDN. Begitu pula sebaliknya jika salah satu item Tahapan Tes Yang diujikan ada yang GAGAL/GUGUR atau Tidak Memenuhi Syarat maka dinyatakan GAGAL karena sistem tahapan tes yang dilakukan IPDN dalam Seleksi Penerimaan Calon Praja (SPCP) baru menggunakan sistem GUGUR.

TAHAPAN DAN MATERI SELEKSI:

Pendaftaran dengan Sistem Elektronik;
Tes Kompetensi Dasar (TKD) dengan Sistem Computer Assisted Test (CAT);
Tes Kesehatan Daerah;
Tes Psikologi, Integritas dan Kejujuran;
Tes Pantukhir (di IPDN Jatinangor) meliputi :
Verifikasi Faktual Dokumen Ddministrasi
Tes Kesehatan Pusat
Tes Kesamaptaan
Wawancara

Tidak heran mengapa banyak dari kepala daerah ataupun kepala berbagai instansi diduduki oleh para purna praja IPDN. Selama pendidikan di lembaga tersebut, para praja diajarkan dan dilatih khusus dibidang kepamongprajaan yang dikhususkan pada pemberian pelayanan serta inovasi dan kreasi yang akan di buat untuk bekal setelah lulus dari lembaga pendidikan tersebut.
