Does what it says on the tin: it is a comprehensive reference of German grammar. It is basically a reference textbook in app form. This app doesn't seem to be aimed at teaching you German, instead it's meant for you to look up why German behaves the way it does. So Duolingo might tell you a phrase, and expect you to take it as a given. This app can tell you "why" that phrase looks the way it does and where else the same rules apply. You should know ahead of time that this app is very dull, dry and just gets to the point with no fun distractions. That is precisely what I wanted from it. Also you should know that this is a reference app, it will not be enough to teach you German from scratch, but it can serve you well once you know enough to need a single place to look up language rules or to refresh your memory. If you need a reference app, this one will probably be the only one you need, though you can probably find other cheaper apps if the cost is too high for you. If you are not bothered by the cost, then this app seems to do what it promises and does it well.
