We need KEY FILTER in EQ, Gate and Compression session. We need more effects engine e. g. Stereo Image enhancer, More Reverbs and more Delays.

Very disappointed with Mackie. I highly recommend staying away from their DL series or anything related to their master fader 5 app. Using a DL32r as a mixer with an ipad to control it all. I have been using this system two years. Pressure is pushing me to sell the system and move to another brand. Mackie has promised 5.1 for too long and I can no longer wait. Will NEVER recommend Mackie. This total lack of support, and lies on the 5.1 release has my complete loss of confidence in their brand.

Downloaded this to my S7. I made sure the app didn't need to update. Connected to the "MixWithMackie" router. App can't detect the mixer. Turned cell off-on. Nope, didnt work. Uninstalled-reinstalled the app. Nope, still not detecting the mixer (DL1601). Forced app off. Reopened. Nope. Turned wifi off-on again. Nope. Gave up. Everyone in the band with iPhone had no problems. Only me. Looked everywhere for a solution and saw lots of folks had the same with no answers either (Btw, 500 wor lim suk)

HORRIBLE!!! one day it connects , next day it doesn't!!! I have 3 android pads and only one will connect fully but only half the time. I've tried to connect to my router and update firmware for the master fader app 4 times and even forced it by pushing the stupid button. I've tried to contact Mackie tech but I have a better shot at going to outer space. I can NOT use this on a gig!!! too many issues and not dependable. I wish I had read the reviews first !!!

Still waiting for the Android compatibility with the DL1608.... (it's July 2019). My old brick iPad is losing battery and I bought a new Galaxy tablet (as all of my devices are Android) to use with the DL1608. I've reverted back to an old analogue console now and patiently wait the ability to control my digital desk with an Android device. Sigh.

By far the most intuitive and easy-to-use app to get complete control of the mix. I've been using the DL series and S for 5 years now, hundreds of shows. All the issues people are having below about connectivity are most likely problems with their router ( don't use the onboard) and using older tablets. Make sure you are using new technology if it's important to you that it works right, 10 yo ipads just won't cut it.
