I can no longer save the sounds as ringtones or notifications. It flashes up in red at the top stating UNABLE TO SAVE SOUND it worked perfectly for years but not any longer.

First class app I purchased primarily for it's soothing sounds, but I've since found it encourage my pet Hermann tortoise to venture from within it's sleeping quarters. I highly recommend this app. It could be very useful to pet /petshop owners. It's certainly well worth the money for the ad-free version. 👌👍

Nicely put together and easy to use. Would be nice to be able to group by habitat. If I'm walking through a wood, I probably don't need to scroll through all the waders and seabirds in my search for what a tree creeper sounds like. Similarly, would be good to have a garden birds section to really narrow it down for beginners to get into bird song identification from the comfort of your home.

Useful when learning bird songs. Ocassional sounds can be hard to hear (example: the bittern) and occasionally you can hear another bird in the backround making it a little confusing at times. For birds with multiple songs and bird with multiple songs and calls are harder to master as only one song / call is played. But apart from that, this is a very useful app that makes you a better birder in a relatively short space of time.

I love the concept, but a lot of the answers are incorrect and inconsistent. A swift was labelled as a goose, and a picture of a common tern was labelled as both a common tern and a little tern. If the errors were ironed out, this would be 5 stars, but to miseducate novice birders who won't even realise they're being miseducated just isn't on.

I really like the simplicity of this app: both a useful 'search' facility and clear bird calls. This is the ideal field guide for a beginner like me. Highly recommended.
